Remember to join us on Wednesdays
beginning at 6:00PM during Lent for Soup and Salad dinners, fellowship,
Bible study and worship. We need volunteers to sign up for bringing soup and
helping to set up. See the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board. We need you
- we want you! Join us one and all!
Women’s Retreat - Join us May 8 from 8:30 - 4:00 at Our Lady of
Calvary Retreat Center. We will discuss “The Shack” by Wm. Paul Young. “The
Shack” is a moving story about redemption in a deeply broken world. The cost
is $15 per person which includes lunch.
Annual Clean-Up of our building and grounds - If you are available to
volunteer some of your time to help clean our church building and grounds
please mark your calendar and join us on March 20 for inside clean-up and
March 27 for outside clean-up.
Easter Breakfast - mark your calendar and join us for breakfast on
Easter morning. More information will follow in the near future.
Large Print editions of the Lutheran Service Book is available for
anyone who would like to use it during our services.
Weather and Worship - to find out when worship services have been canceled
due to weather conditions, check TV cannels WTNH channel 8/myTV9, WFSB
channel 3, radio WTIC 1080AM or www.wtic.com
or our website,
www.cheshirelutheran.org. A mass e-mail will also be sent. If you would
like to be included on our mass e-mail please let the church office know.
Always check our website for any cancellations of weekly events due to
weather conditions.
New Assortment of Greeting Cards are on display. The Thursday Ladies
thank all in advance for their continued support of this project. We have
$300 and will add more as the year progresses. Proceeds at the end of 2010
will go to the refurbishing of the organ.
