Youth
        
The youth at Cheshire Lutheran Church have the wonderful
opportunity for fun and fellowship with people their own age. These groups meet
weekly and they also meet about once a month for fun events, service projects,
and also lock-ins. Friends are always welcome to every event. Events are
constantly being planned and all the information that you need to know will be
put up on this page. Please check back frequently so you know exactly what

High Impact!!!
This group is for youth in grades 6th through 8th grade. During
the months of September to June we meet every Wednesday from 7:15 to 8:30pm. We
get together and have fun, play games, and sometimes
have a small devotion and bible study. Friends are always
welcome

CrossRoads!!!
This group is for youth in High School. During the months
of September through June we will meet once a week from 12 till 2 pm on
Sunday afternoons. We will watch movies, play video games, eat
food, and just hang
out.
YOUTH GROUP CHRISTMAS LOCK-IN!!!
December 12-13 will be our Christmas lock-in for the
youth groups. We will start around 8pm and go play laser tag. After that
we will come back to church and hang out the rest of the night. Differnt
activities will include making fruit baskets for the shut in memebers of the
church. A white elephant gift exchange so bring a gift that cost no more than 5
dollars. A giant game of Manhunt, Guitar Hero Tournament, Lots of movies, food
and fun. Friends are always welcome to this event. Sign up in the youth
room if you are going to be coming.
"We Believe" 2010 National Youth
Gathering!!!
July 17th-21st 2010
Plans are now being made for
the upcoming National Youth Gathering; the summer of 2010 in New Orleans LA. The
National Gathering provides an opportunity for youth and adults to
boldly come together in the name of Jesus
Christ to proclaim, celebrate, and
witness their salvation through Him, rejoice in the fellowship of their church
and be affirmed and nurtured in their lives as God's people
through Word and Sacrament.
The 2010 Gathering marks the 11th
National Youth Gathering and the third time New Orleans has been home to
the thousand of youth and adult participants who will gather over five-days
for celebration of their faith and life in Jesus
Christ.
This event is for youth who will be 14 by July 2010, entering
freshman year of high school, or a 2010 high school graduate who has
not turned 21 by July 2010. If you are interested please talk to
Joe. A lot more information will be coming as the event comes closer.
