Vacation Bible School “Rainforest Falls” – June 2026

Cheshire Lutheran Church invites you to our annual Vacation Bible School!

Join us for a fun-filled week, and have your friends and neighbors join us as well!

The program theme this year is “Rainforest Falls” and includes New Friends, Exciting Experiments, Creative Games, Bible Stories, Tasty Treats, Stupendous Songs, and Amazing Adventures!

All activities will be held in the air-conditioned church or on our extensive outdoor lawn area, so please make sure to send a water bottle labeled with your child’s name.

Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If we reach our capacity limit, we will maintain a wait list in case we have cancellations.

T-shirts will be provided for registered children and volunteers. Please provide your preferred size for each individual on the enrollment form, We will do our best to match sizes, although please understand there are no guarantees on exact sizes.

Parents, please take proper precautions in the event that your child is ill.

Dates: Monday, June 22 – Friday, June 26, 2026

Time: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, drop off begins at 8:45 am

Cost: Free and open to the public. There will be a free will collection of food or cash donations for families in need.

Participant Ages: For children ages 4 through having completed Grade 6. For health and safety reasons, all children must be able to use: the bathroom independently; and to understand and follow directions given in English.

Volunteer Ages: Anyone who has completed Grade 7 through adult is eligible to volunteer.

Each of our groups is limited to 10 students and 2 teen volunteers per group; we try to group students by age/grade. If there is a close friend or relative your child would like to be grouped with, please let us know and we will try to keep it in mind when we assign the groups. We will do our best but we cannot guarantee that all requests will be met. Please note, we will not be able to move students between groups once VBS begins.

Online – We highly suggest you register online below, which the easiest and fastest way.
Email – Attach a copy of the completed form above and send to us via our Contact Us page submission form. Select the Office Administrator entry in the Recipient drop down.
Mail – Or, you can download, print, complete, and mail the CLC VBS Registration Form (PDF format) to Cheshire Lutheran – c/o VBS, P.O. Box 157, Cheshire, CT 06410. You may also visit or call the church office (203) 272-5106 with the information, and our secretary will assist you. If no one is in the office when you call, please leave your name, contact number, a good time to contact you, and we will gladly get back to you.

Registration Confirmation:

We will contact you to confirm that we have received your registration and will send you details of the procedure for drop off and pick up. If you do not receive confirmation from us by May 9, please contact the Church Office.
